The day, as it felt
Weddings are not productions. They are chapters. I photograph the day as it happens and leave you with something that still feels true in twenty years.
This is for couples who
- Iwant to feel relaxed on their wedding day.
- IIdo not want to perform for the camera.
- IIIvalue honest photos that reflect how it actually felt.
- IVwould rather enjoy their guests than spend hours posing.
- Vwant someone steady who will not let things feel awkward.

I am Jack.
Husband to Mel, dad to Aria and Levi, and the photographer behind Jack Ham Imagery. Mel and I met young and we have grown up together since. That is probably why I do not see a wedding as a performance. It is one moment inside a much bigger story, and I know that because I have lived what comes after it.
One day this version of you will feel distant. That is why it deserves to be remembered properly.
So I stay close enough to catch it and quiet enough that you never feel watched.

In their words
“Coming from someone who does not like photos, this man and his team made it so easy. The respect and care they showed for our requests and traditions was perfect.”Nick, married 2026
“His communication through the planning process and on the day was great, and we received the photos back so quickly. We are already discussing when we can lock in some family photos.”Kim, married 2026
“Our photos are so natural and exactly what we wanted. Jack was brilliant on the day, chatting to us and bringing our vision to life. He made us all feel so comfortable.”Donna, married 2024

Wedding photography for couples who feel awkward in front of the camera
Most couples who enquire tell me they are awkward in front of a camera. Here is why that is exactly who I photograph, and always will.
